The Dream piece really was the product of one of my craziest dreams; I often use them
to come up with images, colors and moods that I remember when I wake up - as long as I jot down a sketch of the idea immediately, it sticks with me. This dream in particular was so striking visually, that it seemed a perfect launch pad for the art. It was filled with dragons, cowboys and indians, figures randomly plucked out of a kid's bookshelf, and I liked the idea of throwing this together with my contemporary, harder figures; the women I draw. After all, they eventually become part of the kid's fantasy world as well ...! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
